Our Projects
Collabpad gives away our application framework freely downloadable and usable by anyone, even our competitors. While it may seem counterintuitive on the surface, it works best for us and for our clients in the long run.
Open Source Projects
Collabpad leverages Open Source tools to realize our work.
MODx CMS & PHP Application Framework
MODx is ideal for web developers and XHTML/CSS designers that need an easily customized web application framework. Further, MODx allows you to turn over a custom site to end-users for daily maintenance without worrying. Broadly supported on a wide range of hardware and software platforms, its GPL license means 100% of clients' investments go towards implementation, not proprietary software licenses. modxcms.com
OpenExpedio Object-Relational Bridge (xPDO)
OpenExpedio: open extensions to PDO. A light-weight ORB (object-relational bridge) library that works on PHP 4 and 5, it takes advantage of the newly adopted standard for database persistence in PHP 5.1+, PDO. It also implements the Active Record pattern for data access and offers a method to abstract business objects from SQL queries and prepared statements. xpdo.org
Tattoo Enterprise Application Framework
Tattoo is a highly optimized pure-framework based on xPDO. Tattoo brings enterprise-level reporting capabilities, data migration tools, forms handling, scalability and additional advanced capabilities to the Collabpad development workflow. This in turn helps accelerate site conversions and new custom application deployments. (website coming soon)
Why Open Source
Many people think we're crazy for giving away our Content Management Framework. However, by doing so we've fostered a vibrant community around our tools of choice. Tens of thousands use our software daily, with hundreds of improvements resulting from their feedback.
Better for everyone

More eyeballs on our code in this case means higher quality software, tested on more platforms. No annual licenses means 100% of your investment goes towards implementation.
